New features and major improvements in v3.2
New layout and new features in Link Manager
A lot is as usual in Link Manager, but the portal has got a new look. With these changes we want to create a more modern and fresh experience. In addition to the directly visible changes, the search function has also been updated and provides more opportunities.
‘Connection Detail’ has been updated and IMEI and IMSI are now displayed to support new features in Link. In addition, the status message has also been changed and now displays UTC timestamps.
New Access: IPSec
IPSec is available as a feature in Link Networks. Activation of this feature needs to be ordered and activated by our support.
To set up an IPSec tunnel is now automated and can be configured and deployed from Link Manager with predefined routers for a smooth and swift installation. Please observe that solid IT knowledge is required to be able to use this feature correctly.
Locking SIM to a device
It is possible with this new tool to lock a Link Connection to the device IMEI.
This feature can be used to ensure that the SIM card is not moved from the device and misused for other purpose. This feature is located at ‘Edit Connection’ screen.
When ‘Device lock’ is used and a SIM card is moved to a new device, the Link Connection will be deactivated and an IMEI notification will be generated from Link Manager. If the SIM card has been moved for service reasons, it can easily be reactivated from Link Manager.
