4.4. Varying traffic levels and traffic notifications

With this option, traffic is not cut off when the highest level within the selected communication plan has been reached. Traffic that exceeds the maximum level is charged per megabyte based on the current price list.

The following traffic notifications are generated by AddSecure Link:

  1. When the maximum level has been reached, a warning notification is sent, and the Link Connection is highlighted in yellow in Link Manager.
  2. When traffic reaches +250 MB, a warning notification is sent, and the Link Connection is highlighted in red in Link Manager.
  3. When traffic reaches +1.25 GB, a warning notification is sent.
  4. When traffic reaches +2.5 GB, a final warning notification is sent.

Items 1 and 2 are sent once per day according to the system’s schedule. Items 3 and 4 are sent directly to the customer when the event occurs, and AddSecure receives a copy of the notifications.
