5.2 Creating a VPN user access

VPN user access is linked to a user’s email address and a specific network.

 

How to create a Link Access subscription for a user:

  1. In the menu bar, click Networks.
  2. Then select the applicable network by clicking by its name.
  3. At the network dashboard click on panel for VPN user accesses, click Add user.
  4. Specify the email address for the remote access user.
  5. Specify the user’s name and a description about the user access.
  6. In the Platform box, select the operating system.
  7. Click Create.

 

Then the user receives an OpenVPN certificate by email after approximately five minutes. If the user does not receive the certificate, check whether the email has been marked as spam. See section 7 for information about configuring VPN user access and installing the OpenVPN certificate on Windows.
