Testing a Link Connection using built in ping function:- Open the command prompt on the control computer. In the menu bar, click Networks.
- Under Connections, select the appropriate connection and click Edit selected.
- Click Ping to ping the IP address of the selected connection.
A successful ping result verifies the network connection with the response:
“OK: Average response time: XX ms.”
If there is an error, check that:
- The equipment is turned on.
- The equipment can handle and respond to ping messages.
- The SIM card is correctly mounted in the device.
- The equipment has sufficient signal strength and, if necessary, mount a better antenna.
